La Locanda is a traditional Tuscany country house located on top of a sunny and very panoramic hill near a beautiful medieval borough. It welcomes you within its two apartments which can be rented together as a private Villa. From 2 to 8 people.
It rises on a terraced area surrounded by grazing sheep and very ancient chestnuts forests. The wonderful panorama, look a beautiful Valley, the Apennine National Park Mountains and the beautiful Apuan Alps making this place a very enchanted one.
La Locanda is a stone faced walls, completely restructured using a traditional Tuscan materials: handmade cotto tile, chestnuts wood and stones.

   

From the swimming pool the guests can enjoy the peace and the surrounding mountains with the necessary privacy and comforts for a special and relaxing holiday.
La Locanda offers to the guests unique dishes taken from the Tuscany and traditional village kitchen using local ingredients only.
Under the beautiful veranda in summer or in front of a big fire place in winter, it is possible to taste farro soup, homemade pasta, local meat, mushrooms, “salame” and “pecorino” cheese with honey or homemade jams, the Italian pizza cooked in the traditional fire wood oven, tasting very special olive oil, Italian wine, grappa or traditional “nocino”, homemade cakes, biscuits and more.
La Locanda is a perfect place where come back after an interesting visit of the historical cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence, a very comfortable starting point to discover the beautiful corners of a beautiful valley by walking, horse riding, bike riding or simply by car.

The interiors have been restored using natural materials, walls and flooring are painted with vegetal colors only.
Each apartment is composed of:
two bedrooms, bathroom, and dining room with kitchen. Original and traditional furniture complete the traditional atmosphere of the villa. Each apartment has a private outdoor area for summer dining and evening barbecue enjoying the colorful sunset, the view of the valley and the silent of the nature.

Gas to warm during winter and autumn season and electricity.
House linen: towels, linen, towels for the pool.

Not included:
Italian Breakfast (coffee, milk, juice, homemade cakes or biscuits and homemade jam, butter and more) 6€ per pers/day
Traditional dinner:  23€ per pers/meal (wine not included)
Dinner is served under the panoramic veranda in Summer and in front of a big fire place in Winter, it include starters, first dish, second dish, cake, italian coffee.  
Children under 8 years old have 50% discount.

The 6x12 meters swimming pool is open from May to end of September/first week of October depending on weather condition.
